To be on the waiting list for grade levels that don’t have openings, a family and their child will need to complete an admissions application and then submit a nonrefundable fee of $50.00. If the child is enrolled in AESA, the $50.00 fee will be credited to their tuition payment.

Admissions Process

Step

Two

All student candidates are required to shadow for one day at AESA, with the exception of summer admissions applications. Shadow days typically begin at 8:30 am but AESA is also flexible with start times. The AESA school day ends at 3:15 pm and students are encouraged to stay until the end of the regular school day.

After a shadow day is scheduled, students and their families are invited to complete an AESA Application and asked to bring their application on their shadow day. Students may bring their Shadow Day Contact Information form with them on their shadow day. The 2020-2021 admissions applications are under downloads on the Apply for Admissions tab.

Step

Three

After a successful student shadow day and interview, the candidate and their parents will be invited to complete the rest of the admissions process.

To complete the admissions process, academic and behavior reports for the past two years are required, as well as letters of recommendation from a current teacher and a previous teacher. If a student has any testing results, we would like for you to turn those in as well.

If the student candidate has a passion outside of school, a letter of recommendation from their coach, trainer, or instructor would be very fantastic as well. Any additional letters of reference that the parents would like to submit will be considered.

Once the admissions application process has been completed, parents will be notified by phone and email with our admittance decision. We are looking at our student candidates on an individual basis and not comparing them to a group of students, therefore we are able to give our prospective families a decision in a relatively short period of time.

Deposit for the

School Year

Once a student has been invited to be a student at AESA Prep Academy and has officially accepted, a $1,000 deposit is required to hold the student’s position here at AESA. Once the deposit and signed contract have been received, the student will officially be accepted as an AESA Prep Academy student and their position will be secure for the upcoming school year.
